I joined The Good Center in 2019 following my fellowship.
My approach to counseling is an integration of various theoretical approaches, such as Psychodynamic and Existential Therapies. My goal is to help clients find a sense of meaning, purpose, and value in their lives. I strive to be present with them in their humanness, so that they can understand where they are currently at in life, how they got there, and what direction they want to go next. I offer my clients (and/or their partners) a sounding board and safe space for exploring the complexities of being human. Through this process I hope that my clients will gain insight into themselves which can lead them on a path towards personal growth and fulfillment.
My life experience and training have given me the necessary tools to help others explore their subconscious minds in order to gain greater awareness and insight into their past and present behaviors. In our sessions, I create a safe space for open dialogue where we can work together to understand your unique situation from a holistic perspective. My expertise includes working with teen-aged students, couples, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Through my professional background I am able to provide guidance that is tailored specifically to each individual’s needs while also cultivating an atmosphere of trust and understanding.
