Lorin is the author of Camouflaged Love: A Memoir. As a former Chaplain Assistant in the United States Army, she had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life.
After completing her military service, Lorin continued her passion for helping others by becoming a Marriage Prepare & Enrich Facilitator and a Nurturing Parent Facilitator. With over 18 years of experience in counseling and coaching, she offers compassionate guidance, saying, “I can walk alongside you to meet you where you are.”
Lorin is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapeutic approach that helps individuals heal from trauma and distressing life experiences.
Her therapeutic style emphasizes strengths and focuses on individual and family systems. She integrates a Solution-Focused approach while maintaining a positive perspective.
