Welcome to the good center
My path to becoming a counselor didn’t follow a straight line—it followed a life. I’ve managed people, navigated complex relationships, and asked the hard questions that come with age and experience. But everything shifted after I survived a near-death experience with cancer. In those moments of uncertainty, all that truly mattered was love—who I had given it to, and who had given it to me. It wasn’t a dramatic realization; it was a truthful one. Relationships are what give life meaning, and I knew then that if I got a second chance, I would devote myself to helping others heal, grow, and reconnect with what matters most.
My approach to counseling is grounded in lived experience and a deep belief that change is always possible, no matter where you are in life. I’m drawn especially to working with individuals and couples who are ready to face the hard conversations—the ones about trust, forgiveness, communication, and the quiet distance that can grow between people over time. I bring a steady, thoughtful presence to the work, and I believe in practical, forward-moving solutions that don’t ignore pain, but work with it honestly. I don’t approach therapy as someone with all the answers—I come as someone who’s walked through real change and knows what it takes to keep going when things feel stuck or broken.
If you’re looking for a therapist who understands what it means to rebuild, to reflect deeply, and to do the work with care and clarity, I may be the right fit. I work best with people who value emotional honesty and who want a guide, not a lecturer—someone who brings both compassion and structure to the process. Whether you're an individual seeking new direction or a couple trying to repair something that feels lost, I believe there’s always a way forward. Together, we can find it.
